Diamond Drilling Starts on the Rivard Gold Property, Ontario
E-Energy Ventures Inc. (the "Company") wishes to announce that it has
commenced a program of diamond drilling on its Rivard gold property near Red
Lake, Ontario.
The Rivard property, 23 kilometres west of the town of Red Lake, lies near the
west end of the Red Lake greenstone belt, which has produced to date a
cumulative total in excess of 23 million ounces of gold, and is currently
producing over 750,000 ounces of gold annually. Previous diamond drill
intersections from the Rivard property include: 9.45 metres of 14.32 grams of
gold per ton (g/T Au), 1.0 metre of 22.83 g/T Au, 3.2 metres of 13.75 g/T Au,
2.7 metres of 8.75 g/T Au, and 1.5 metres of 22.0 g/T Au.
The initial 2006 drilling program is planned to comprise approximately 1,000
metres. It will focus mainly on testing a zone of alteration and quartz veining
that has been stripped and partially channel sampled. The quartz stringers
contain fine to locally coarse free gold.
Magnetic and VLF-EM surveys are under way, and are expected to assist in
defining targets for future drill programs, in addition to targets resulting
from prospecting and stripping.
