Red Lake Check Assays Received

E-Energy Ventures Inc. (the "Company") announces the results of check assays using "pulps and metallics" fire assay methods on channel samples from its Rivard gold property near Red Lake, Ontario. The initial fire assay results using 30 gram splits were reported in a news release of 18 October 2006. Individual assays showed a high degree of variation between the initial assays and the "pulps and metallics" results, changing for example: from 2.90 grams of gold per tonne (g/T) to 36.02 g/T; from 28.29 g/T to 53.91 g/T; and from 188.49 g/T to 80.38 g/T.

The variation between the two sets of assays illustrates the effect of free gold in influencing individual assay results using simple fire assays. The "pulps and metallics" method is generally regarded as giving a closer approximation to the overall gold content of a mineralized zone.

The following table gives the previously reported average assays from five channel samples along a 60 metre length of a zone of altered, sulphide-bearing ultramafic and felsic rocks cut by gold-bearing quartz stringers, with the revised averages based on the new assays.

30 g Fire Assay  Pulp & Metallic Fire Assay
Channel no. Length Au (g/T) Au (g/T)
RC-7 0.45 metres  188.49 g/T 80.38 g/T along vein
RC-6 2.90 metres 3.00 g/T 5.65 g/T
(includes)  0.30 metres 28.29 g/T 53.91 g/T
RC-6 second cut 2.00 metres 2.42 g/T 18.78 g/T not previously reported
RC-4 2.40 metres 1.67 g/T 1.60 g/T sulphides only - no veins
RC-3 6.00 metres 1.09 g/T  0.57 g/T
(includes) 1.00 metres 3.96 g/T 2.09 g/T
RC-1 1.00 metres 2.79 g/T 0.13 g/T not full width of zone

Samples giving gold assays over 1.00 g/T were repeated, using "pulps and metallics" assays on 1 kilogram splits. Both the original and the repeat assays were performed at Accurassay Laboratories Ltd., Thunder Bay, Ontario (ISO 17025 certified).
