E-Energy closes $1.30-million private placement

Vancouver, April 16, 2007 - E-Energy Ventures Inc. has closed a private
placement for the sale of 7.25 million units at a price of 18 cents per unit for
a total of $1,305,000, where each unit consists of one common share of the
company and one share purchase warrant having a two-year term for the purchase
of one further common share of the company at the exercise price of 25 cents per
share in the first year and 30 cents per share in the second year. These shares
are subject to a four-month hold period expiring on Aug. 13, 2007.
