E-Energy Drill Results From Rivard Gold Property At Red Lake

VANCOUVER, May 28, 2007 - E-Energy Ventures Inc. (TSX-V: EEV; Frankfurt: D8F) is pleased to announce the results of its spring drilling program on the Rivard gold property 20 kilometres west of Red Lake, Ontario. Drilling encountered high grade gold mineralization including 125.59 grams of gold per tonne across 0.40 metre as well as wide zones of low grade gold, including 13.80 metres of 1.65 grams per tonne (g/T Au).

The 2007 spring diamond drilling program consisted of twelve holes totalling 1,629 metres. Six holes were drilled on the main zone of gold mineralization which was defined by the 2006 drill program, testing it at depths between 60 and 100 metres. The highlight of this part of the program was hole EEV 07-21, which cut 7.00 metres averaging 1.56 g/T Au including two separate 1 metre intersections of 5.00 g/T Au and 4.13 g/T Au, and 3.70 metres averaging 2.77 g/T Au, including 1 metre of 8.96 g/T Au. The main zone mineralization consists of an intensely altered zone containing disseminated pyrite, cut by quartz stringers containing fine free gold.

Two holes were drilled in the southern part of the property to follow up some poorly documented intersections reported from old drill holes probably dating from the 1940s. Of these, hole EEV 07-15 cut 1.5 metres averaging 34.07 g/T Au, including 0.40 metres of 125.59 g/T Au.

Two holes were drilled to test a zone of sulphide-bearing iron formation in the southeast part of the property. These holes intersected broad zones of low grade gold in the 0.2 to 1.0 g/T range, such as the 24.60 metres averaging 0.48 g/T Au in hole EEV 07-13. Where these sulphide zones included gold-bearing quartz veins, the average grade was higher, as in hole EEV 07-12 which cut 13.80 metres averaging 1.65 g/T Au, including 1.0 metres of 13.65 g/T Au.

Two holes were drilled near the Saddler's pit, west of the main gold zone. Of these, hole EEV 07-16 cut 1.0 metre of 7.11 g/T Au.

Simon Tam, President of E-Energy Ventures stated, "The assay results from the spring drilling program are encouraging indeed, and provides us with the confidence and conviction to move forward with the next phase of our aggressive exploratory program on the Rivard Gold Property."

The following table provides a list of all drill intersections containing assays over 1 gram per tonne, plus the wider low-grade intersections in holes EEV 07-12 and -13:
